A partner in Pollak, Vida & Fisher, Judy L. McKelvey has been with the firm since 1995.  Ms. McKelvey works closely with public entities, officials, and employees in the areas of inverse condemnation, tort liability, employment, and mandamus matters in trial court.  Ms. McKelvey takes an efficient, proactive, and creative approach, based on great attention to evidentiary detail and obtaining practical and effective solutions for her clients.

Ms McKelvey has presented discussions on various topics, including mandamus, government liability, and e-discovery issues. Two recent examples: The Top Ten: The Most Important Government Liability Cases in the Last Year (California Association of Joint Powers Authorities, 2009); Elimination of Bias (Los Angeles County Counsel, 2009).
